If you're expecting to wait for a lower price for a Wii system, don't bother - Nintendo is saying that Wii systems will be hard to find again this year. if it's anything like last year, prices could jump 30
% or more closer to Christmas! Don't kick yourself by waiting to buy and missing the deals out there now.

So where are the deals now? Your best bet is always online, there is just more inventory. The best Wii console deals can be had at EBay auctions because there are so many more units available. Be sure to review only sellers who have good ratings, good return policies and fast shipping to get yours under the tree in time!

Well here we go again... Just like last year, for Christmas 2008, Nintendo has again had to state that demand for the Nintendo Wii over the holidays may exceed supply.

Last year the Wii was the hottest selling Christmas gift.  Yet not only were Wii consoles hard to find, but into November and December the prices went up 15%, 20% or more.   Nintendo had not manufactured enough to ship to meet demand

Well it looks like we're doing a deja vu all over again this Christmas 2008.  Nintendo is now saying that the Wii will again be hard to find.  Already, retailers are limiting the Wii, the Wii Fit, and other hot items like Wii Music and Wii Rock Band.  If you're looking for a Wii console, and you know  where to buy Wii on auction sites, there is good availabilitiy.  Look for some deals on big online retailers too, but don't wait!  Last time we checked, you can get Wii bundles and consoles at good prices and availability, but this won't last.
